Surrounded by farmlands and cornfields in southern Ohio……lies the small town of Hillsboro.  Home to TouchPoint Pentecostals, pastored by John Worley, this town is on the verge of experiencing a great revival!

We had the privilege of spending this past weekend with this church family that truly has a burden and love for souls.

We arrived Thursday evening to our nice hotel.  After freshening up, we had dinner with Bro. and Sis. Worley and Jaalah (their daughter). During the meal, We received a phone call stating that a group of people were at the church, and ready to hit the streets.

We quickly headed back to the church and met with these folks and went out until  2am. (We were amazed at the people out late at night in this small town).

Friday we canvassed several apartment complexes around town. Jaalah (the pastor's daughter) and Jessica (a future IBC student) were incredible! These young ladies (who started the day apprehensive about talking to strangers) quickly gained confidence and were jumping out of the truck to talk to people!  I wish you could have seen them walking through traffic, dodging the cars and trucks, and praying they would live through it all….. these girls are naturals.

Friday evening we met with the church to talk about Lifestyle Evangelism. At the conclusion of the service, I mentioned that we would find someone within ten minutes of our departure into the streets.

Within five minutes of driving around, we noticed Eddie and Jennifer. (We had seen this couple earlier in the day, while passing out fliers). Therefore, we knew that was not happenstane. We spent time with them and talked to them about the plan of salvation. They were so excited!!!  Amazed that people would take the time to share with them the Gospel. (Within a few minutes, they were headed back to the church with us to be baptized in the name of Jesus!)  What a time we had at the church that night!!

Saturday morning we meet Jennifer and Eddie's family. After spending time with Linda (Jennifer's mom) and Nancy (Jennifer's grandma), they realized the significance of being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ!  They immediately gathered their things, and we headed back to the church for this wonderful!

After battling cold and rain for three days, we woke up Sunday morning to rain/snow!! But God blessed us with 26 guests! Following a wonderful message by Pastor Worley, Debra was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and received an incredible touch of God, while still in the water!

Sunday night we had a powerful service. The church broke through to a new level of faith.  They are trusting God for the miraculous, and speaking faith into every area of their life!

There are two things that we strive to do: customize the revival/outreach for each church and set a plan in motion that will assist in the retention of each guest.  Secondly, we organize the outreach efforts in such a way that they are not overwhelming, and therefore, they can easily continue when we are gone!

Because Hillsboro is a small community, 26 guests plus additional contacts will produce a tremendous harvest in the days ahead.  In fact, several baptisms are set for this weekend, as well as, many new bible studies beginning on Thursday!

One family called Bro. Worley and asked that he come to their home, and teach them about water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ!  And to add to that excitement, the rest of the family (including adult children) want to be present for the study.  They have been quoted as saying, "If momma is going to get baptized, then we are, too!"

Monday night, we met with the Worleys and the church about discipleship and retention.  We set up plans to follow-up with guests, deliver pictures from Sunday and even scheduled a pizza party for fellowship and a question/answer session, this week.

The church is getting ready for even greater things. Everyone who was baptized during the week came to the Monday class and following the class there was another powerful move of God!

The Worley family is one of the sweetest families we have ever met. They have such a love for people and a heart for their city. We know God is going to continue to use them to turn Hillsboro upside down!!!  We feel honored that they included us in the process!
