The Brownwood Evangelism Center, pastored by Rev. Ken Colegrove, is one of the greatest churches in our movement. With exceptional leadership and vision, this body of believers have set their focus upon reaching souls, serving their community, and lifting up the name of Jesus Christ!

In August of 2007, we had the privilege of being in revival services with them. In two weeks, at least 20 received the Holy Ghost, physical miracles took place, and many were baptized.

B.E.C.’s “Lifeline” team gathered on several occasions, and visited the halfway houses of their city. Establishing friendships with the residents, serving them, loving them, and bonding with them, this team of men proved their burden and calling to reach the lost and hurting of their city. What a tremendous impact they have made thus far within their community!

We held an all-day picnic on Saturday, full of fun and games. Many showed up for this wonderful time of fellowship. The BEC church team members served each guest with enthusiasm and sincerity. They went above and beyond the call of duty, and we believe they made an enormously positive impact on the visitors.

MIRACLE SERVICE: During one particular service, a four year girl received the Holy Ghost, and her 6 year old sister, who was deaf and unable to speak… was healed during the same service. Her ears were miraculously opened, and she walked to the back of the sanctuary and began to speak to one of the sweet women of the church, “Angel, Angel!!”

After service, Her mother was able to confirm that her beautiful little daughter was able to speak as well as hear her for the first time! To God be the Glory!!!

If you are ever in the area, you owe it to yourself to visit this great church. The Colegrove’s are some of the most incredible people in Pentecost! We love them and esteem them highly!
