250 visitors/35 baptized in the name of Jesus Christ! "TAKE THAT DEVIL!" On Sunday, October 21, 2007, we began our time together with one of the greatest groups of people in Pentecost.  Pastored by Chris Austin, Greater Faith Apostolic Church has the talent, the gifting, the anointing, and the burden to impact their city and reach the lost. The first week has been incredible!  On Sunday night, in a service about soul winning, we felt to speak about the ministry of giving.  At the conclusion of the message, the Spirit of God moved in a tremendous way.  One person after another began raising their hands and making donations, while sobbing for their city. Pastor Austin made the first donation of $500!  With tears running down his face, he then donated an extremely expensive luxury item!  His 7-year daughter came forward and donated her bicycle. Kids immediately began to raise their hands, as well.  These precious kids gave away bicycles, XBOX's, PlayStation's, and a multitude of other great toys.  Families donated appliances, stereos, microwaves, televisions, jewelery, gift cards for gas and restaurants, and much more.   About 45 minutes into this incredible time of giving, I felt like someone in the audience had a car that they were thinking about giving to this great cause.  Within five minutes, a couple stood up, and began to approach the platform.  With tears running down their faces, this couple donated their 1999 Ford Taurus (excellent condition)!!  What a beautiful car!  What an incredible couple! On Monday night, we began teaching on the effects of organized outreach, as well as techniques and tools of successful outreach.  After each session, we would go out into the city and witness and minister to people. By Wednesday, we had seen many miraculous things occur.  There was a change in the minds and hearts of many of these people, as they developed a boldness and burden to reach the lost of their city. Searching under bridges, and walking through parks throughout the city, we located many homeless people who needed nothing more than a hug, a prayer, and a trip to McDonald's.  We even discovered that some were ready to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission for their sins! By Thursday, we were able to transition into the second dimension of outreach, and that is personal evangelism.  Handing out flyers and inviting people to church is very significant, and cannot be overlooked or underestimated.  However, we must all be careful not to stop at this point. By Saturday, we had baptized 8 people!! We have been called and empowered to reach for the lost without reservation! We visited every apartment complex we could locate throughout the week.  We rode the streets every night until about 2:30am, and prayed with people throughout the city.  We passed out flyers, and witnessed to people around every bar and club in town.  Many were kind, and some were angry.  But the fact remains, we have been called to win souls. On Sunday, we had 250 first time visitors in the house! Pastor Austin delivered a tremendous message to the crowd, and I gave the altar call and spoke about water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ!  21 people responded to this life changing message, and many were filled/refilled with the Holy Ghost!  To God be the glory! A local television crew heard about the outreach that was going on, and they showed up to film the entire Sunday morning service.  What a tremendous opportunity to allow others in the city to hear this incredible message, and see 21 people baptized in the name of Jesus Christ! We will post many pictures of the incredible events that have already taken place!
