2 Timothy 4:5 .."Do The Work Of An Evangelist.."

What a revival in Wisconsin!!!

Cornerstone Worship Center (Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin).

Words can't fully describe the excitement, enthusiasm, and atmosphere of this power packed week of revival!  Thanks to the leadership of one of the most kind and compassionate pastors, this church body is poised and positioned for Apostolic revival.

The people were truly inspiring in their willingness to take the concepts that I taught, and implement them into their daily lives.  I was so refreshed to be around people who love their city.  (Please take a few moments and view some of the pictures in our photo gallery from this revival).

Utilizing Lifestyle Evangelism techniques and concepts, these people knocked doors, walked downtown streets, infiltrated the club scene, and "personalized" everyone they met during this week of outreach!

I wish that each of my friends could have been in these services.  True delieverances took place.  Miracles transpired.  Many were baptized and many more were filled with the Holy Ghost.  Families were reconnected.  The altar services lasted for 2-3 hours!

On the final evening of our time together, I was amazed at the level/depth of praise and worship.  This fantastic group of people was still dancing and running the aisles some 2 1/2 hours after the preaching!  It was unbelievable.

The musicians were anointed. (Way to go guys!!!)  The outreach endeavor was miraculous.  The people of this church were friendly, personable, and lead by one of the best pastors.  I must say that this church exemplifies true Christianity!!!!!

I will refrain from mentioning names (although I think I could remember them all)… but to my new friends of Fond Du Lac,  "You have a special place in my heart, and I miss you already!"

To all of my friends that read our blogs…. please consider taking a trip to this town, and visiting this church.  It is well worth the cost!

The youth were so impressive in their sincerity, and willingness to "jump on-board."  They brought so many guests to the services!  The prison ministry team was extraordinary.  The leadership team was top-notch.  The cooks were oustanding! Wow!

Allow me to leave this comment to my dear friends in FDL, "Take that devil!"

Here is the letter that Pastor Pace wrote about our time together.

How many times can a person use awesome, fantastic, and life changing before it begins to lose its effect. It would require me to push the limit just to begin to tell you what effect Evangelist Ken Cook had on the Church body, myself, and our local community.

His ministry was the missing piece of the puzzle for our 2008 vision.

I am the Pastor of Cornerstone Worship Center in Fond du Lac, WI. We cast a vision at the beginning of 2008 to reach for the lost like never before. It was a vision that was caught quickly and easily by leadership and church staff, but it was Bro. Cook with his teaching, preaching, and demonstration that brought the whole church body on board.

I must say that Bro. Cook truly demonstrated what I have been teaching our people concerning the Apostolic outreach we read in the book of Acts. Everyday, Bro. Cook ministered no less than 12 to 14 hours each day in outreach to the community, training classes on lifestyle evangelism and burden for the lost, a class for substance abuse entitled "Lifeline", and preaching that was inspiring as well as motivational. We baptized people after every service, for a total of 16 (in four days) in our local assembly, and many filled with the Holy Ghost.

On Sunday afternoon, Bro. Cook ministered in a service at our local prison facility and 9 more people were baptized and 2 were filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. My Church Administrator said, "Bro. Ken Cook certainly does raise the bar when it comes to Evangelists!" My Assistant Pastor, Bro. Bruce Meadows made a statement to the Church that in 43 years of ministry, he had never experienced a revival like we were experiencing.

I want to extend my deepest thanks to Bro. Cook for truly demonstrating the role of Evangelist, and imparting to our people what Lifestyle Evangelism really means. We were disappointed that circumstances did not allow Sis. Cook to be with us during the revival, but we would like to thank her as well for "loaning" her husband to truly revive our Church and myself!

In His Service,

Pastor Dale Pace

Grove City, Ohio

Julie and I enjoyed an exciting week with Steadfast Church, pastored by Kevin Brown. We arrived to our wonderful hotel Tuesday evening, and found the biggest gift basket ever! This special touch was much appreciated. I'm not sure if we have ever seen such a huge basket!

Early on, we felt that the Lord would direct the schedule of events for our time there.  Therefore, our focus was on Him and not our agenda.  It was so refreshing to be allowed to follow the leadership of the Holy Ghost.  Each night, the Word of the Lord was clear and powerful!

Our focus for the entire week revolved around soul winning/outreach.  Each evening we were amazed at the presence of the Lord that met with us during the services!  The Gifts of the Spirit flowed freely.  Words fail to accurately paint the picture of what incredible things transpired during this week.

By Saturday, we were ready to get out into the community and begin witnessing and inviting.   We were careful to personalize as many contacts as possible. Several people received the Holy Ghost, and many were baptized.  Also, there were some notable and incredible physical and spiritual miracles that took place!

The church was geared toward retention, and follow-up.  Personal visits, home Bible studies, are already in motion. We were honored to be a part of what God is doing in this church body!

Hillsboro, Ohio

Surrounded by farmlands and cornfields in southern Ohio……lies the small town of Hillsboro.  Home to TouchPoint Pentecostals, pastored by John Worley, this town is on the verge of experiencing a great revival!

We had the privilege of spending this past weekend with this church family that truly has a burden and love for souls.

We arrived Thursday evening to our nice hotel.  After freshening up, we had dinner with Bro. and Sis. Worley and Jaalah (their daughter). During the meal, We received a phone call stating that a group of people were at the church, and ready to hit the streets.

We quickly headed back to the church and met with these folks and went out until  2am. (We were amazed at the people out late at night in this small town).

Friday we canvassed several apartment complexes around town. Jaalah (the pastor's daughter) and Jessica (a future IBC student) were incredible! These young ladies (who started the day apprehensive about talking to strangers) quickly gained confidence and were jumping out of the truck to talk to people!  I wish you could have seen them walking through traffic, dodging the cars and trucks, and praying they would live through it all….. these girls are naturals.

Friday evening we met with the church to talk about Lifestyle Evangelism. At the conclusion of the service, I mentioned that we would find someone within ten minutes of our departure into the streets.

Within five minutes of driving around, we noticed Eddie and Jennifer. (We had seen this couple earlier in the day, while passing out fliers). Therefore, we knew that was not happenstane. We spent time with them and talked to them about the plan of salvation. They were so excited!!!  Amazed that people would take the time to share with them the Gospel. (Within a few minutes, they were headed back to the church with us to be baptized in the name of Jesus!)  What a time we had at the church that night!!

Saturday morning we meet Jennifer and Eddie's family. After spending time with Linda (Jennifer's mom) and Nancy (Jennifer's grandma), they realized the significance of being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ!  They immediately gathered their things, and we headed back to the church for this wonderful!

After battling cold and rain for three days, we woke up Sunday morning to rain/snow!! But God blessed us with 26 guests! Following a wonderful message by Pastor Worley, Debra was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and received an incredible touch of God, while still in the water!

Sunday night we had a powerful service. The church broke through to a new level of faith.  They are trusting God for the miraculous, and speaking faith into every area of their life!

There are two things that we strive to do: customize the revival/outreach for each church and set a plan in motion that will assist in the retention of each guest.  Secondly, we organize the outreach efforts in such a way that they are not overwhelming, and therefore, they can easily continue when we are gone!

Because Hillsboro is a small community, 26 guests plus additional contacts will produce a tremendous harvest in the days ahead.  In fact, several baptisms are set for this weekend, as well as, many new bible studies beginning on Thursday!

One family called Bro. Worley and asked that he come to their home, and teach them about water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ!  And to add to that excitement, the rest of the family (including adult children) want to be present for the study.  They have been quoted as saying, "If momma is going to get baptized, then we are, too!"

Monday night, we met with the Worleys and the church about discipleship and retention.  We set up plans to follow-up with guests, deliver pictures from Sunday and even scheduled a pizza party for fellowship and a question/answer session, this week.

The church is getting ready for even greater things. Everyone who was baptized during the week came to the Monday class and following the class there was another powerful move of God!

The Worley family is one of the sweetest families we have ever met. They have such a love for people and a heart for their city. We know God is going to continue to use them to turn Hillsboro upside down!!!  We feel honored that they included us in the process!

Revival in Mount Vernon..the details!

We enjoyed an entire week centered around outreach and personal evangelism with the people of MVACC. After the Sunday morning service, we headed out for the streets of Mount Vernon, and witnessed to others about the life changing message of Jesus Christ. On Sunday night, at the conclusion of a personal evangelism seminar, a divine visitation of the Lord settled into the sanctuary, and one man was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.  While he was still in the water, he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost!

On Monday morning, we were on a mission!  From door hangers, to door knocking, we did our best to cover the entire city with invitations to the special events that would take place during the up-coming weekend.

Although the strongholds of this city were easily noticed and felt… we were determined to see great things take place!!!   Several of us took a break from outreach, and headed back to the church for a time of concentrated prayer.  We knew the task ahead would be difficult, and it would only be successful if we walked in the Holy Ghost.

On Wednesday night, there was a wonderful sense of excitement.  After preaching on the plan of salvation, 6 people were baptized and 3 were filled with the Holy Ghost! (What a tremendous boost of enthusiasm was added that night!)  The level of expectancy was rising to an entirely new dimension.

On Saturday, we gathered at Riverside Park for a wonderful day of fun and festivities.  The moon walk seemed to capture the attention of many of the younger children, while the “Hands of Praise,” performed many songs to a large crowd of older children and adults.  Some of the musicians and singers were on hand, and added a special touch to this fantastic day.

Next, we threw out hundreds and hundreds of pounds of candy to the large crowd of kids, and adults (kids at heart)!  When I say hundreds, that is by no means an exaggeration.  The back of our truck was completely filled with boxes of candy (stacked three high).  I have never seen this much candy at one time!  It was truly amazing!  This was every kid’s dream, and every diabetic’s worst nightmare!

Finally, the time had come that many had worked hard for…..  And here are the results of Sunday's service:

*190 in Kid‘s church!

*Approximately 425 in attendance!

*16 baptized during the altar service!

*Several received the Holy Ghost!

*Numerous bible studies established

*New transportation routes set up for Wednesday night!

Approximately one hour after the service, I spoke with a great family from MVACC.  I felt the Lord giving me direction concerning her father’s situation.  He was pastor of a Wesleyan church for 30 years, and had recently moved to Mount Vernon.  I felt a connection to this fine family, and knew that God’s hand was very much involved in their lives.  After releasing the direction of the Holy Ghost to this sweet sister, I knew that if she would follow through with the word, her father would immediately get in his car and come back to the church and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

About an hour later, while visiting with some of our friends from the church, I received a call stating  that this incredible man was en-route to the church, and wanted to be baptized.  Wow!  God’s Word is always a sure thing.

A small group of us gathered alongside the baptistery that night, and watched a miraculous event take place before our very eyes!  Afterwards, we sat around the altar and listened to his emotionally-moving story.  Convinced that God was orchestrating his steps, this pastor talked about the events that surrounded his previous few years.  He spoke about his ministry, and all the memories.  He spoke about his love for people, and the things of God.
