We were "on-the-go" in July. we started July in New Lyme (Ashtabula), Ohio with Bro. & Sis. Ardarey. We always enjoy our time with them, as they are a neat couple. By the way, Dillon (their boy) is sharp looking, and a lot of fun. On the other hand, their dog (Darth) is unique… You can't hide a ball from him…. He will sniff it out!!!!
It's a long drive from southern Ohio, but we love the church, and always have a good time. A few girls from the youth group accompanied us from the camp back to Ashtabula… and we enjoyed listening to their camp experiences.
After services, we took two of their boys from the youth group.. to camp. We had a great time visiting with them, as well.
On the flip side of the positive things that occurred this week…. My dear friend Jeremy Welch passed away. He was preparing for marriage on saturday evening, and was found dead (in his home) on Sunday morning.
We flew to Houston, borrowed a vehicle from some friends, and drove to DeQuincy, Louisiana. What a huge loss for myself and all of his friends and family… Jeremy was very dear to me. Bro. & Sis. Welch, and the DeQuincy church were a great blessing to us! Thanks so much for letting us be a part of the funeral!!!!!
Next, we headed for Toledo, Ohio, to be in service with Bro. & Sis. Perry. They are fantastic, cutting edge, contemporary leaders. What a neat set-up they have. They got it "going-on!" Visit them online at www.newlifetoledo.org.
While in Toledo, we met up with Clyde and Vickie Bailey (friends from Texas). They recently relocated to Toledo, and it was a late night full of memories and laughs!
Our next stop was in Delaware, Ohio. Pastored by Bro. Mike Wilson, this church knew how to have great worship services. The Wilson family is second to none, and they made us feel "at-home." We had great services, and the Lord ministered in a great way!
The Delaware church has purchased a new church building! They are awaiting a final move-in date, and are readily anticipating the move! The building is huge, and it is very beautiful. We are so happy for them!!!!
The following week, we were with the Young's, in New Lex., Ohio. We enjoy our time with Bro. & Sis. Young. They are kind people, and love the role of the evangelist. They know how to make you feel good! Thanks for being a friend to us!
We had tremendous services, and couldn't wait to be back with them in August!
The last week of July, we were back with the Triona's in Jackson, Ohio. These people are the best! Bro. & Sis. Triona and their kids: Alex, Aden, Andrew, & Bryce, have become very dear friends to us!
They have totally remodeled their church building and sanctuary, and it is incredible! We enjoyed great services with this church family, and look forward to many more in the future. God ministered to the body in a mighty way!!!
July was full of excitement and good times. We enjoyed seeing many "powerful" demonstrations of God in each service! Only God knows the extent of good things that happened this month!
