Ken Cook graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He worked several years as a juvenile probation officer in Lufkin, Texas. With an extensive history of youth work, Ken was actively involved in the Lufkin Independent School District, where he served as the middle school liaison officer.

With a special burden for inner-city youth, Ken maintains an active role in the lives of hundreds of young people. He is aggressively involved in community relations, and concentrates a great amount of time on issues such as ethnic, racial, and cultural diversity.

Julie (Ryan) Cook graduated from Indiana Bible College in 1993. She then returned to Mount Vernon to assume the position of music director from 1993-1999.

In December of 1999, Julie moved to Tupelo, Mississippi, where she was employed at the Tupelo Children’s Mansion. While at TCM, Julie served as secretary to the President, as well as tour music director.

Ken and Julie were married April 26, 2003 in Tupelo, Mississippi.

While under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Nathan Scoggins , Ken was passionately involved in weekly bible studies. He also served as the local coordinator of the Christian Intervention Program for five years. Julie served as the assistant music director, and played an active role in both the adult as well as children’s choir.

Currently, they are traveling as full-time evangelists with the United Pentecostal Church.

Outside of pulpit ministry, Ken and Julie are actively involved in street evangelism, teaching outreach and personal evangelism principles, outreach seminars, developing homeless ministries, establishing Lifeline evangelism teams in local churches, and bringing the message of deliverance to those bound by substance abuse.
